Kim Caron’s journey to alternative healing began when her father lost his battle
with cancer in her early twenties. This experience made her question and approach
life from a different perspective. After pursuing her Criminology Diploma from Mount
Royal College, Kim obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Okanagan
University College.
During her studies in B.C., Kim volunteered her time at the Professional Therapy
Centre where she was involved in research tasks such as data and collection analysis
for a relapse prevention program. She also co-facilitated teaching young offenders
moral, developmental and educational skills, observed psychological assessments
of court-ordered young offenders involved in various criminal offences, conducted
crime cycle interviews, social histories and debriefed cases. This combined with
the strong will to have a better understanding of the healing capacities of the
mind and to promote emotional, spiritual and physical well-being led Kim to become
a Reiki Master in the Usui System of natural healing.
Since then, Kim has taken a six month Meditation Instructor Course with a learning
approach that has both practical and theory components. This comprehensive course
has been developed by a highly renowned and respected Master Teacher of Meditation
named Phra Tep Jetiyajarn, Luangphor Viriyang Sirintharo, Lord Abbot of Dhammamongkol
Temple in Bangkok, Thailand, with over 65 years of experience.
In addition to using the healing modality of Usui Reiki, Kim has implemented another
holistic approach to natural healing known as Crystal Light Bed Therapy which also
helps to promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
